Mini MAD Info

  • Mini MAD (Momentum Athletic Development) is the entry-level athletic development program designed to build confident, capable young athletes aged 8–12 years. Delivered by the trusted team at Momentum Sports Performance Centre, Mini MAD lays the foundation for long-term athletic success through fun, challenging, and age-appropriate training. 

    This is not a watered-down version of MAD - it’s a movement-focused program tailored specifically for developing bodies and growing minds. 

    The Program builds Foundations for Future Athletes.

  • Early exposure to structured, well-coached movement improves: 

    • Motor competency

    • Body awareness

    • Coordination

    • Confidence in movement

    • Positive association with physical activity

  • Mini MAD is all about broad-spectrum athleticism. Each session targets the key pillars of physical development in a fun, engaging format:

    • Speed & coordination

  • MINI MAD acts as a feeder program into our full MAD Athletic Development system. As athletes graduate from MINI MAD, they enter the MAD Program with: 

    • A solid foundation of movement skill 

    • Confidence in the gym environment 

    • A positive mindset toward effort, learning and training 

    • Readiness for more individualised, sport-specific prescription
